Caroline poured him some scotch. He didn't really seem like the tequila type, but he was more than welcome to that too if it was what he wanted. She was drinking more than usual these days, not just to take the edge off...but to drink away her pain. As much as she tried to remain the upbeat, neurotic little vampire that she was, there was so much she still had yet to deal with.
"I have a roommate." Caroline answered. "I haven't talked to her much, but she seems nice." And of course had no idea Caroline was a vampire. It was easier to talk about things like this. The harder stuff would come later. Given Klaus's volatile relationship with his own mother, she wondered if he'd even know how it felt for Caroline to lose a good one. "What about you?"
