With the addition of snow Hogwarts somehow became more magical.The grounds were perfect for snowball fights and sledding, while the lake was solid enough to skate on and Hogsmeade seemed to be over powered with the smell of roasted chestnuts and hot cocoa. Was there any wonder why the students of Hogwarts couldn't concentrate on their impending mid-term exams? And if that wasn't enough it was decided that Hogwarts needed a yule ball of their very own. How could any one concentrate when the holidays were around the corner ready to embrace them?

There was something about the Marv High during autumn that made it slightly more bearable for the students. Maybe it was the scenery,maybe it was homecoming season, most likely it was because of the annual senior Kegger that happened after the talent show that the students thought the faculty knew nothing about.
Bruce couldn't say that he completly approved. The rest of the faculty seemed to almost condone this behavior. But as the shop teacher pointed out, he was no longer working for public school. Rich kids did what they wanted to here. And at least this way they got to confiscate better booze at dances.
The interest in one's neighbor had certainly changed as the centuries past. No one asked questions about what their neighbors were up to anymore. It use to be,back when the citizens of Marvelous (Now known as Ave. M) had just arrived in this New World, that they had to use more magic to keep the Mortals away. As it grew it became harder to seclude them selves but easier to blend. By the twenty first century the Mortals were far to busy keeping up with their computers to pay any mind to communities of fairies in the trees of Central park. Bruce preferred it this way, it was easier to blend in when no one was paying attention to him. He could find a way to fix his little problem.
True love's first kiss, like most words out of witches mouth, it was a lie. Shortly after kissing Beauty Bruce returned to his human state and it lasted all of five days. After those five days his skin turned green,he sprouted a tail,tufts of fur grew in behind his point ears and on his back. It was worse than the original curse.It'd happen with any drastic shift in mood, if his temper got out of hand, if he was depressed if he was aroused. Needless to say the wedding was postponed in definitely.
What was amazing about Ave.M was that was that when Bruce had these little flair ups he no longer had to hide himself away in his penthouse. He carried on business as usual.They got by with a simple cloaking spell on the street. No Mortals could find it if they weren't looking for it. They had their own shops, their own housing and their own government council (He had run for a council seat but lost out to Jack the Giant Killer's smear campaign against him). It was nice not having to worry about mortals seeing him in this form. He could enjoy his meditation in his beast form.
The year is 2030, fifteen years after the first Jaeger deployment. The United States' top Shatterdome is a hub of constant activity; housing several Jaeger, the Los Angeles PPDC base is home to countless personnel. From crews to pilot and maintain the giant mechs, to scientists researching all aspects of the Kaiju in search of exploitable weaknesses. These are the men and women who work tirelessly day in and day out in the defense of the planet, protecting Earth from the monsters climbing from the depths of the breach.
Amidst all the battles and monster attacks, the every day dramas of life continue to play out, set against the backdrop of a world careening towards the apocalypse. Humanity's outlook remains hopeful, but with an increase in the frequency and category of Kaiju attacking, world leaders are looking for other means of protection. Though skeptics of the Jaeger program are still in the minority, opinions will soon shift as humanity loses its advantage against the Kaiju. What was once an army, mankind's only real chance for survival, will someday become its final resistance.
