For the most part, Charlie had that 'sleeping' thing down. But sometimes he found it impossible to settle in and go to bed. Not really for any reason other than his thoughts were running away with him as of late. His chat with Katalina had given him some things to think about, that was for sure, and he wasn't entirely sure he was any closer to having the answers that people wanted. Or, that guests wanted. So, around three in the morning when his on-call pager went off, he was wide awake and functioning enough to get up and answer it. Whoever was on duty was probably busy with parameter checks, but Charlie really didn't mind. Well, long as he didn't get punched again. A compound fracture in his nose would have been terrible -- he was a little afraid his pretty face might be forever changed.
Throwing his security uniform on, a blue that wasn't quite blue enough for his standards, Charlie made his way back to Ignite. He laughed a little on the way -- hadn't he just been here? The place had pretty much cleared out, save for a brunette who was giving the bartender hell. Charlie nodded his head to the guy as he walked up, quick enough to catch what it was the woman was saying. He watched her stumble as she got up and he flinched a little with the effort of not reaching out to steady her -- punch-worthy act, that would be. "Good morning, miss. Now, my friend here says you're causin' quite a stir," he said. He delivered the words with a soft smile, his tone calm whereas the words he used weren't exactly. "Tell you what, why don't we go for a walk? We'll even go outside if you want. My name's Charlie, and I'd be happy to walk with you." He smiled brighter as he held his hand out in the direction of the exit, hoping that the gentle approach would work. He seriously doubted it, though.
