As he watched Ashling dress the wound he began running through things in his head, making a list of everything he would need to do as soon as they got Daniel to the Infirmary. He looked down at Daniel and could see that the man was in pain and possibly close to passing out from it, they needed to get him stabilised and soon. When Ashling moved to bin the bloody shirt that had been stemming the blood flow he shouldered his bag and made sure he was set.
"I have the cart outside so we don't have far to walk," he said to both of them. Seeing the amount of blood Daniel had lost meant they never would have been able to walk all that way, he was thankful he'd had the foresight to bring the cart instead of running here. "Ashling, can you manage him alone or did you need help?" He wasn't just going to insult her by assuming she couldn't handle him alone but he also wasn't going to not offer his assistance in case she wanted or needed it.
