Ashling pulled away her extra shirt she'd used as a bandage, unceremoniously dropping it at her feet. "Sorry about this," she said, then she ripped Daniel's shirt open to better expose the wound. Then she took the gauze from Aiden and taped it up as tightly as possible. She grabbed her ruined, bloody shirt, and hurried it over to a waste bin. She wasn't the sort of person who could leave a mess like that behind for housekeeping.
"Let's get you up, then," she said as she returned to Daniel's side. "Go slow," she advised. "You've lost a lot of blood. You can lean on me."
