Jai took one of the towels from the bunch and padded himself down. He was at least confident now that he hadn't pissed himself, so he decided he might as well consider the situation a win. Toweling dry was useless, though. Once the mess was clean he was just going to have to go change.
He did something of a double-take in Jon's direction, indeed trying to figure out if the older man was joking or not. God, he hoped he was joking. Jai grinned an unsure half-grin and chuckled softly, "That was a joke, yeah?" It was a joke. It had to be. Jesus, they weren't cats. "Though I gotta wonder, they're good at following orders. Has no one ever tried telling them to knock when they enter?" He refused to believe he was the only one who got the shit scared out of him by them on the regular.
