Oh, Jesus. Jai nearly cringed at the idea. "No, Sir. Big negative on that one." Some members of the staff hated the woman, but he'd met a few who loved her and thought she was great. Jai just tried to avoid her like the plague. At the end of the day, he just hated telling a woman 'no.' And she was so damned gung-ho about everything.
He cracked a small, tentative smile at the tranq idea. That was a joke. Good, he was capable of it. Hayes could be intimidating, even if most days (not today, obviously) Jai considered himself a model employee. He tried hard to be, anyway. "Might be enough caffeine in her bloodstream at any given moment to cancel it out," he said. "Though I imagine it wouldn't be the first time someone's tried to slip her a downer."
