"The door is always open," Michael offered, waving a hand. The waitress brought her a coke and refilled Hayes' water, and Michael waited until after she left to say any more. "Everyone here is unpredictable one way or another. With the criminals... we just have a better idea of where we stand," she said with a smile.
"This one is actually here for his temper," she warned, voice lower so as to prevent anyone overhearing that shouldn't. "And he's a big guy. But knowing that off the bat, I still don't think he's the most dangerous guest we've got." Though she'd be hard-pressed to pick just which guest was top dog in that respect. She could maybe narrow it to a top five. Or ten. Maybe she was jaded, but she'd stopped fearing guests a long, long time ago.
