"Try not to give the bartender a black eye on your first day, they kind of frown on that." Lina couldn't help it, she actually snorted at the idea. She didn't mention that she'd already (probably) broken a nose today, because she still didn't really consider that one her fault as the idiot should have known better. The idea did occur to her somewhere on the walk back to the hotel that she could just go ripshit on any member of staff that fell into her path, but she didn't actually think that would get her anywhere. Plus, the nausea. And the dizziness. She wasn't exactly at her full strength and she didn't think there'd be a lot of satisfaction for her at the end of that road.
And that was when an extremely perky woman with a clipboard popped out from around the corner. "Hi there! I'm taking sign-ups for ballroom dance lessons at five today! It's going to be so much fun, why don't you join us?" The clipboard was practically shoved in her face, and so Lina decided there was at least some satisfaction left to get. She took the clipboard, and immediately cracked it in half over one knee. A different piece got thrown back over each shoulder, and Lina stepped around the woman to keep walking. Okay, that felt good. Beginning to grin darkly, she called back over her shoulder to Mary 'Dipshit' Sunshine. "I promise nothing."
