When Michael's eyes settled on the good doctor she smiled brightly, a little surprised but not unpleasantly so. "Speak of the devil," she said, good-naturedly enough. "No, no problem. Not yet. Assuming she keeps it together, anyway. I just like to keep an eye on these sorts of things."
It was good, she thought, that Leila was around. She would have expected no less, but she was still getting a feel for the woman as part of staff. Michael had seen Leila has a guest for a long time, and finding out she was returning as a shrink was a surprise, albeit a welcome one. Who better to help? Leila seemed level-headed and capable, and Michael's instinct was that she could be trusted with the position. Still, she admitted she had to wonder if any member of staff that had been around her when she was a guest would be willing to go to her for help if they needed it. It didn't trouble her, just interested her. Like all her other curiosities around the place. "Everything smooth on your end?"
