"Maintenance can blow me," Lina mumbled. Lina didn't care if the staff got annoyed. They could just join the fucking club, couldn't they? The emergency bell began to ring, and after several moments of that Lina started to hear another sound. A ringing phone. At first she had trouble figuring out where the sound was coming from, what with the blaring noise of the alarm, but she found the emergency phone on the opposite side of the doors. She grabbed it and held it to her ear, having to put her hand over the other one to hear what was being said. "What?"
The voice on the other end explained that they'd had a power outage and were doing what they could, but it might be a while. Lina told them to hurry the hell up and slammed the phone back down on the hook. She wasn't a claustrophobic person, but she didn't relish the idea of hanging out in a dangling box with a crowd to boot. "Think you can turn the alarm off," she sighed. "They know. They're working on it."
