TIME UPDATE
July 5th, 2013.
Friday.
Weather Report: It’s another hot and clear day in the desert until late in the afternoon, when heavy clouds begin to roll in and the humidity begins to rise. There’s definitely a storm on the way, and when it comes (possibly tomorrow), it's going to be a big one.
Staff Briefings: July marks the start of the Mojave desert’s storm season. Most people think of deserts as getting a very low amount of rain, but the Mojave does have several severe thunder and lightning storms in their storm season, and several inches of rain annually. Fliers have gone up reminding guests to stay indoors during any such storm.
Daily Events: It’s Friday night, and that means the bars are a little busier than usual. Not just with guests, either. A good number of staff have the weekend off, so Fridays are always busy. It's a good day to relax with a drink and get to know someone new! Hurray!
