A recent article in the Wall Street Journal made mention of couture designers who select runway models to fit their clothes, and in turn they carry it over into their ready-to-wear designs that expect the potential wearer/buyer to fit their bodies to the clothes, rather than designing clothes to fit peoples' bodies.
