Everyone may think Jack is stupid and damaged but this woman child is at an age where she wants nothing to do with her own culture and finds anything different to be better. That makes Jack the best thing she's ever seen. The white men are monsters and too alien. This guy may be from another world but he's like them just enough. Better yet, he's the perfect chance to show off. She openly flirts, lightly kicking at his foot with her own and smiling up at him. The other girls' reaction to this is about the same if an english girl walked up to a stranger and made a kissy face at him.
She flips her hair once more. "Anaba." She's proud of her name and says it standing straight, looking him in the eyes. It means 'returns from war'. Anaba robe out with the braves as a small girl, unnoticed. She wanted to be a warrior. By time they knew they were being followed it was too late to go back so she camped with them. When they came upon another tribe and faught she held her own. They named her when she came back. It was laughed about a bit because she's a girl but Anaba doesn't consider it a joke.
She leans forward and touches one of the tattoos on his chest having seen body art before but not at all like that. While her friends hang back behind her she seems fearless of the pirate.
