In some ways being shaken is like being hit in the face. There's nothing you can do to stop it, it makes you feel small and stupid, and you find yourself questioning your inability to stop it. It also makes thinking difficult. After the next round of Rattle The New Captain Bastiaan stumbles, inciting more laughter. "//Still docked and already sea sick! He tries to get his footing as he's shoves from one man to another. They pass him around, slapping him and groping. When his shirt is lifted he swings, attempting to strike back. Instead he's pushed off and suffers through another round of being passed off. Talk of 'getting him' doubled his efforts to fight them off. He lifts a knee as he's passed to the next man. Through aim not of his own and a lot of luck he hits the pirate square in the testes. The boy falls over him and scuttles across the deck while the sailor howls in pain.
