He all but leans far enough to fall into the water himself, looking for the elusive point of interest. Jack huffs when it seems to be nothing at all. "Them?"
The pirate looks again, but as the selkie explains, he pieces together what it is the seal saw. He hadn't realized the damned things were following him. How long had they waited for him to return to water? How long would they wait? Jack shudders a little and his lip curls with his discomfort. That's one more lasting threat on his life to add to the pile and yet another he didn't need.
