Dr. Milbury kept the Clinic somewhat cool, but of course, he didn't notice. Temperature was hardly one of those things he paid much attention to. However, his nurses, those who did notice liked it perfectly fine where it was, so he didn't argue with them. Like a proper gentleman he deferred to the women around him on inconsequential choices. His review of Haemat's file wasn't anymore necessary than it was for him to review the file on anyone else. After all, most of the information was kept quite securely upstairs as some would say.
He greeted her with a raised eyebrow and a quirk of smile. He wasn't going to argue with her assessment of the situation. If she was cold, then that was simply all the more reason for her to move through this very quickly.
"Miss Carlson," he finally did admit to paying direct attention to her. "That expression is hardly becoming on such a beautiful face." With a bow, he indicated the direction of the exam room. "We can make this quick and you can be on your way to warmer climes, if you would be so kind as to follow me."
The examination room itself was no warmer nor any less sterile. "The usual physical requirements, height, weight, basic blood work, reflexes, all required. After all, we would hate for someone else to end up like your comrade."
