Simon, the untouchable boy, was certainly not used to being this physical with anyone outside of bed, to be honest. Kyle was really pushing all of his boundaries but, in a sense, it was like dealing with an unruly pet. You couldn't really stay mad at him or, at least, Simon couldn't. It was shocking to him, but then again it was virtually harmless. And it didn't feel half bad.
"Heh. You sure about that?" Simon asked, only half-jokingly. Emboldened by Kyle's easy demeanor, he reached out and grabbed his hand. "May I?" he asked softly, already running his fingertips over those evil looking claws. Man, that was a big hand, and the fur felt just as soft as he thought it would. The pads were rougher than he expected, though. Interesting contrast.
He let go in time for Kyle to sit up and fixate on him. It was really intense to be stared at like that, and his blush only deepened. He held on to the pillow on his lap before he answered. "Oh, it feels like forever. I was found on the other side of the world and raised by Brotherhood people, so I've always been around. But I only started doing ops for us when I was seventeen or so. Simple stuff, extractions and the like."
Wow, Simon was usually very reticent to talk about himself, and here he was telling Gibs his life story. He caught himself and stopped, fascinated by those cat eyes. "Wow. I hadn't noticed your eyes." He grinned. "They're... cool." And yikes, he had almost said pretty. "You're like a mountain lion," he said through a smile.
