What a fascinating coincidence. Selene thought to herself as she passed by the store. Though, normally, life forces stood out largely as a function of their intensity, individuals that she had spent considerable amounts of time around stood out. She smiled to herself as she recognized Storm. No, a coffee shop was not her usual favored location, but it would do. She did somewhat fancy a bite to eat.
Mentally signalling her thrall, a titanic, seemingly leathern figure whom she solely referred to as Jacques, Selene turned towards the coffeeshop, Jacques moving to open the door for her. Coming into the coffeehouse, she was distracted momentarily by the smells of the food and drink, but more so by the life forces that throbbed about her. Some bright, some dim, one noticeably tainted by some wasting disease, whether it be AIDS or cancer, she couldn't quite tell.
Turning towards Storm, she smiled slightly. "Good day, Storm. How are you this splendid afternoon?" For his part, Jacques remained silent, watching around him carefully. Unless one knew her nature well, they would probably presume that he was simply her bodyguard.
