Madison sat in her office, reading a medical journal. The article she was reading at the moment featured strains of diseases that seemed to uniquely affect the mutant population, and it contrasted them with diseases that the mutant population were entirely immune to. It was interesting research that had been conducted in several countries in Europe where a few mutants were attempting to live in harmony with humans rather than living in Mutant Nation. It was also important to read up on, as a young doctor who exclusively saw mutant patients. Any doctor who thought they knew everything needed to get over themselves, in her opinion. Unless, of course, the aforementioned doctor was an omnipath. Assuming the ability even existed. If there was one thing she'd learned about other mutants, it was to never assume something was impossible.
Checking her watch, she saw that the break she'd allowed herself was almost over, so she finished reading the article, made a few quick notes in the journal she kept for herself to keep track of what she'd done for the day, and put it away.
There would be patients, and if anyone particularly important needed her attention, her secretary had been instructed to direct them toward one of the exam rooms, and to put a bright red sheet of paper sticking out of their file. Or in cases where they weren't there for a check-up, just the bright red sheet of paper in the little plastic file outside the door so she knew to attend to that person first.
Strolling through her medical office, she did her rounds.
(OOC: Feel free to either run into her in the hall, to be in an exam room and/or in an exam room with a bright red sheet of paper letting her know you're a particularly important visitor)
