Gibs & Storm, opening to Elixir
While she could have easily started to fly in the building, Storm stayed on her feet, skidding around corners and occasionally pushing someone out of the way with a well placed burst of wind.
She reached Technica, knowing that Wild Child had to have come through there. Kneeling down next to her, she checked the woman's pulse. It was a slow and steady. Good enough. With careful fingers, she turned the woman's head. It looked like she had taken a fairly nasty hit, definite bruising already, a bit of blood.
Concussion possibly, hopefully not more than that. Half-thinking, she picked up her phone and reached out for Elixir.
"You are needed in the capital building," she didn't introduce herself. If he didn't know her voice by now, he needed to have his head examined. "We have one person down, at least one intruder, possibly more."
Once she let him go, she sent out a systematic alert to her entire team. They needed to get to her as soon as possible. While she could have left the technopath where she was and gone after Wild Child, the fact that there was possibly more than one offender made her stay put. Once Elixir arrived, they would be able to do more. For now, it was simply a waiting game.
