Storm fixed cool blue eyes on Kyle, trying to truly understand what it was he was saying. While she might not have had the same instincts he had, she had good intuition of her own. Her intuition didn't even get a tick from the good doctor. Maybe there was something Kyle felt that she didn't or perhaps he was just doing that cat thing where they inherently disliked certainly people? There was no telling really.
"The Doctor's not our normal physician, Kyle, so it's unlikely you'll be seeing much of him, but since he did the autopsy on Jamie, he was the best qualified to actually diagnose any problems."
That was the reason she had chosen to let Dr. Milbury be in charge of the physicals this time around. The regular team Doc would be handling most things for them without too much trouble from then on, hopefully.
"Don't worry about it," it was an easy practice to try and sooth him. As much as she was the leader, she was also a bit of the mother of her group. Everything was about their well-being. "You coming to crash on my couch for tonight? Or go see if you can manage to scare somebody else?"
