Gibs was grinning ear to ear and delighted as he landed in a crouch on the ground, his growl shifting into the start of the word "surprise!" Silly feral should have smelled the ozone, but his mind was too caught up in what fun surprising his target would be. He was ready to pounce forward and spring over the top of his target's head, when pain ripped through him, snapping blue eyes wide open behind the mask.
"YEOOOOOOLCH!" He yowled, though a much less human sound tore from his throat a moment later as his body went stiff before flopping heavily to the ground. He was frozen for a moment, fighting to breath, and not just because of the stuffy mask this time. Speaking of, the mask was half melted. He let out a gurgled groanin sound and half pulled, half clawed the mask off his face, half sure that a few puffs of black smoke left his lungs in the process. His entire body felt electric and tinging, and not in a good way, and all his fur was standing on end.
"...well..." He rumbled lowly, eyes wide and body half twitchy and jerky from the shock. "Fuck... 'at sucked..." He blinked again and turned half clouded blue eyes up to the one before him, blinked twice and then at last registered who it was. "Storm?!" he asked with wide eyes. "Well... no wonder ya got me!" A rather timid chuckle rumbled low in his chest as he scratched sheepishly at the back of his head. Oops, he hadn't meant to pick a fight with the boss lady.
