Bella watched Edward with eyes and a smile as big as a child's on Christmas morning. As he embraced her she turned her face inward, nuzzling him in that space between his neck and chest. She knew that she could never grow tired of the feelings he produced. Still, she was a little stubborn, speaking up though her voice was muffled by the position she was in.
"I can take care of myself just fine." She smirked, only finding her statement funny after the words had passed her lips. Bella was a danger-magnet, of course. Who knew what sort of trouble she would attract?
Still, everything was pure bliss. She couldn't have imagined Forks turning out so wonderful.
