Alicia wasn’t running late, exactly, but she wasn’t exactly on time either. There were so many options she could choose between when it came to the building, and though she had – mostly – decided on going with Elliott’s suggestion of a clinic, she was still trying to decide on what to do with the flats. It was a lot of work but far preferable to the alternative: trying to come to terms with how she had ended up, with a prime location building in Diagon Alley.
Ange and Katie, though. Those girls were pure medicine when it came to handling things, even if it were just to take her mind off things for a bit. Besides, spending the evening with her girls would ease her concerns about how they were doing.
Spotting Katie almost immediately, Alicia smiled and took the seat next to her friend. “I’ll have what she’s having,” because that worked wonders the last time she said that.
