Lisa,

I'm finally back in town! Sorry for the radio silence, I had to take care of a few things before I was able to sit down and write to you. I'm free this afternoon and would really like to see you. How does meeting at the Leaky Cauldron sound? I really have missed the place since being in Hogsmeade. To be honest, the butterbeer starting to be too much towards the end. If you want to meet then I'll see you there.

Neville finished writing a short letter to Lisa and tied it to Melora's leg. "Take this to Lisa." He said cracking a treat in half and handing it to her before she flew out the window as Neville walked out the door towards the Leaky Cauldron.

It took Lisa about half an hour from getting Neville's note to make it to the Leaky Cauldron's floo, but she came out in a flurry and ran across the room to where he sat at a small round table. "Neville!" She said with a big smile and a hug for him. They'd been friendly in school, but honestly, since the battle, she'd found herself feeling closer to him. He was such a nice presence in her life, especially when she compared her time with him with every time she'd run into Roger.

"How are you?" She asked, pulling a menu to herself to look at absentmindedly.

"I just got back from the Animagus Registrar's office," Neville replied as if the news was as normal as the reporting the weather. "I'm happy to be back in London though, being that far away from everything was making me stir crazy. Thanks for the letters! I feel like all I've been doing for the past few months is speaking with Professors and potions experts."

Neville bent the top of the menu down so that he could look Lisa in the eyes. Her and Hannah's letters were the only contact he had besides business and it was definitely appreciated.

"Ah!" She cooed, "Congratulations! Where did you find a potionsmaster able to do that? It's got to be really high-level stuff, even for a pro..." It wasn't an indictment of his potions abilities, and she knew he'd know that. "How was living with Professor M? I would've been terrified, to be honest, but I was never high in her marks thanks to my lack of transfiguration talents," she said with a laugh. "Are you back at your grans now?" She took the hint and put the menu down. "Are we drinking? To celebrate?"

Neville couldn't help but laugh at her rapid-fire questions as he decided which ones to answer first. "I made some connections during my time at St. Mungos," Neville replied with a quick smile, wanting to keep Adrian's involvement quiet, "What are we drinking?" He asked looking at the menu.

"McGonagall is fastidious about her cottage and if you thought that the Animagus training would be enough then you're wrong. She had me working on all these advanced Transfigurations while she was working at the castle."

He placed the menu back on the table, "I'm still at grans, for now, I just dropped my bags there and rushed to the Ministry to take care of the registration."

He cocked his head to the side, "So if we are celebrating, what are you celebrating?"

"Ooooh, connections, huh?" She asked, exaggerating to tease him. He'd grown up so much in even the last couple of months. It made her happy to see.

Her eyes grew round, though, and she shook her head, "I can't imagine. Thank goodness there's no transfiguration involved in running a bar, let me tell you," come to think of it she had no idea what the difference there was between muggle bartending and wizarding inn keeping... She might have to find out, quick.

"You're so lucky, your Gran is a much better roommate than my Mum. Then again, I bet even the Professor is better than Mum. Hannah mentioned I could come to stay with her..." She'd been thinking about it.

She gave him a confused look, "We're celebrating you! What do you mean? My incurring a whole arse-load of debt isn't something worth celebrating. So, a toast to you, as soon as we get drinks." Tom seemed to be more than happy to ignore her - she was sure the bank had told him of the official sale - and so she went to the to very politely order their drinks and brought them back to the table. "Now, properly, a toast to you." She said, holding her lager aloft and handing him his rum and coke.
