It's not easy being a Tank in the year 2461. These nameless pariahs of flesh and blood were the creation of man, but spiraled out of control during the third World War and fled for the tunnels of NYC. Ever since going underground, they live in a network of tunnels deep below the ruins of New York, still paying the price for what their ancestors did.

The world as we know it, is mostly gone. Forever divided between a distinction between human and the super powered, also known as Tanks, and two more world wars, responsible for destroying old boundaries and laws, the citizens of Earth have bonded together against a common enemy of their own creation; the Tanks. But even united through a common fear for Tanks and diversion towards super powers, most people aren't even aware that Tanks are still used for scientific research. No wonder, you'll finally say, that they're still acting out.

Augustus Moselle is credited as the father of the Tanks and has gone down in history as the man who decided to play God and give evolution a hard shove up the ass. And Humanity has paid the price ever since.
