Cut off, closed away, not knowing what is going on in the world outside. Is the world even there at all?

The citizens of this town are a world apart. Quite literally. Three months ago, their town was cut off from the outside world. And the last thing they knew, really knew, was that that world seemed on a collision course for Armaggeddon. Supernatural creatures were springing up all over the place, countries, civilisations, everything seemed to be falling apart.

And then, suddenly and without warning, the Loops appeared - an invisible ring around the town which seemed to trap any of the citizens who tried to leave, and many of the people attempting to enter, sometimes for hours, sometimes for days - sometimes forever.

The town and the people in it found themselves cut off from any meaningful contact with the rest of the world. Maybe that was for the best. After all, the way things were going, there might not be a world left to have contact with.

And then, one day, a doorway appeared.
Where does it lead? What will they find? Is this the beginning? Or the end?
