OUR CURRENT CAST OF RATHER COLORFUL CHARACTERS!
PREMISE
It's the same year. It's the same time. It's the same Earth, but is it? In this alternate universe it's perfectly normal to have unique powers and abilities. In fact, you're considered weird if you don't have an ability.
This group focuses on a band of underground slave traders aboard The Artful Dodger. Their purpose is to round up those who possess no abilities, house them, and then hire them out for the different tasks that they are needed for. More often than not they're the person who cleans the houses or does the dirty work. They take 'their' paycheck back to the traders. They travel the world, and rarely stay in one location for longer than a handful of months.
Current Location: HONOLULU, HI

| The year is 2020. In New York City.
The Royals of the Vampire world made an agreement with the Human's Government. They would assist and help in any way they could and stop killing them, in exchange for blood donations from hospitals or actual human donors. The werewolves revealed themselves a few months later to offer their allegiance to the humans to provide them with protection from any rogue vampires, as long as humans promised not to hunt them.
It has been five years. It hasn't gone off perfectly, but most humans have grown to accept that Supernaturals are apart of their every day lives. Vampires and Werewolves are openly involved in markets and commerce. And there is an expanded open subculture of the socialization between humans and werewolves.
The Red Hart Club is a Supernatural Bar, though Humans are allowed as guests to regular customers. It is owned by Benedikt, one of the Vampire Royals of New York State. All blood types are available served straight or mixed with anything from the full stock of liquor. The hours of operation are from sundown to three a.m. There is often life entertainment for customer's listening pleasure, with a dance floor surrounding the stage. On those nights there is a cover charge. Human minors are absolutely not allowed in the Club. The police will be called on anyone caught feeding on a humans on the premises. The Bartenders are friendly, and will always be there to show you a toothy smile.

Pennyweather RPG - Town/Supernatural/Magic |
[Apr. 17th, 2010|11:56 pm] |
 | Pennyweather is a picturesque and historically significant little town on the coast of Massachussets, rather precisely like every little town in the state. This charming hamlet near the New Hampshire border isn't quite big enough to be a tourist destination, but with a small harbor, beaches, and small wildlife santuary, it's a great day trip for picnicking and just wandering. The historical society runs two museums, one on art and culture, one about the region's various happenings from prehistory onward. The general standard of living is high, and the population overall tends toward college-educated Caucasian Democrats with lots of dogs and few children. That's not to say Pennyweather doesn't have its seedy neighborhoods, its chain stores and run-down apartments, but they're pretty well hidden by town planning and a general agreement by all concerned.
It also hosts more magic per resident than any other town east of the Mississippi, but that portion of the census is in the bottom of a very nondescript filing cabinet, and the key disappeared under mysterious circumstances when the whack job who owns the occult store and his wife or sister or whoever that woman is came in to deliver a petition against the closing of one of many local graveyards, bearing the signatures of every resident of their neighborhood, alive or dead in the past fifty years. That's really just par for the course in Pennyweather, and many residents who've never even attempted magic are quietly aware that there's something special about their little town.
