Arkham, Massachusetts. A subtle, sleepy little town whose roots run deep in New England history and into the very pits of hell, some would say. To most of it's residents it is nothing but a town created and sustained by long lines of ancestry. To some of its residents its dark underbelly is a suitable hiding place and hunting ground. To a few, it is a town of mysteries to be explored or exploited. Arkham is has long been the home of many things that go bump in the night and yet, so many of it's residents remain blissfully unaware.
The Unnameable is a Lovecraftian based Role Play, in which residents stuggle to cope with the everyday pressures of a life in Arkham, Massachusetts, a place where people vanish without a trace and the forces of light and dark battle against a deeper, darker presence buried just under the earth.
By day the town is a seemingly average college town, by night it becomes the haven for a host of dark deeds. Cultists practice ritual sacrifices while vampires drain the blood of the innocent.

 | it started with shrieks...and then the world just... ended. Most of the population died, and the rest that didn't mutated. They became hideous, feral creatures that terrorize each other and us... or they became what's left of the human race.
That's us. We're the survivors of the Apocalypse. We've made our way so far, and we've settled into a relatively safe hotel to try and come to terms with life, our new powers and the challenges that keep coming up. There are others out there, though... people that are violently claiming territory, making our lives more terrifying than they already were. There was an attack, too. We lost a man. We're holding the attacker, but... what do we do with him?
Where do we go from here?
---We are currently seeking to fill 5 open spots in our game. The spots are first-come, first-serve. Placing a hold does not mean that you are guaranteed admission into the game. If your application is not up to par, we will not accept you. We are - however - some of the friendliest mods you will ever find, period. We're fun and willing to take any ideas into consideration. You will never be refused for your play-by choice, or rejected without explanation. This is an anti-clique atmosphere with mod and player driven plots. Come here and find a home you can really enjoy, with people that will always scene with you. If you cannot handle 7 days = 1 week of game time, please do not apply. We are on our 9th week, so you will be joining 9 days after the Apocalypse. In other words, you are not too late to join in on the action!The new characters will be coming into the game as a small group! |
