Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry

You always saw yourself as different from the people around you. There was always something in the back of your head whispering how much more you could be, how much more you could do. But you never understood it, or maybe you passed it off as wishful thinking.

That was until some stranger walked up to you and said you had an innate magical ability that qualified you to attend a school. You were then presented with a choice: join the school to help you hone your powers or remain with your friends and family with no memory of your meeting.

Welcome to Atlantis.

In recent years, only the last two classes of students were allowed to go on missions. There was a sense of entitlement and confidence that came with participating in real world activities, but this year, things are different. There is a sense of tension among the staff after the announcement that the administration wouldn’t only be accepting sixth and seventh years for missions, as it had in the past, but it would also be including students as young as second years. Why the sudden change? No one knows, but the bulletin boards don’t give you any hints. Now, nearly every time someone goes on a mission, they come back hurt. Most recently a professor disappeared during the mission after a woman was killed right in front of him. No one knows where he went, and no one at the school is giving up answers.
