The Premise

Almost everyone wishes that they could go back in time to fix their mistakes, that they could replay the moments in their lives when things took a turn for the worst. Almost everyone is left with 'what if' in the end.

What if things had been different?

People get through their decisions well enough, and although regret may fade into the background as a buried, but festering presence it can still be a powerful feeling, one that people naturally seek to avoid exploring. But what if pain and regret were all that you had left? What if the only thing that brought you peace was the past that you are running from? Do you try to fix it like you might have desired, or do you give up and live your life the same way you always have?

.

Ben Lomond is an original character time displacement RPG that focuses on the daily interactions between strangers, forced to come together to make a life in a ghost town. The main theme of the game is to explore the depths of regret at your character's life decisions, and to force them to reconcile with the negative aspects of both your character's personality and their choices in life.

Pulled together from different eras, each character in game faces their own set of personal problems and must learn to co-exist with people they have never met and maybe would never like in their 'real lives.' Together, they must find a way to survive or they will all die.
