Fable III: seeking essential Canon characters! | Seven months have passed since The Crawler's invasion had nearly decimated Albion. A month after the coup d'état had failed during the Ravenscar Keep riot, life still has not yet returned to normal for the citizens of Albion. With the collapse of the economy still present despite Reaver's return to his post at Reaver Industries, lower-class to upper-class families are suffering the consequences of the otherwise glorious defeat of the Darkness.
Rebuilding homes and communities takes time, but what about the countless lives lost during the invasion? The Crawler's attempt to replace light with dark had been successful in its own way. Albion's future is looking bleak with so many disillusioned people not knowing how to pick themselves up and move on.
The new Hero Queen's otherwise popular rulership notwithstanding, quality of life is at an all-time low. In Millfields, the local balverine population had doubled after Reaver had invited his entourage of sophisticated balverines to the community more than a year ago. Balverine attacks are steadily on the rise, and not a day goes by without an incident involving these monsters.
After ex-Sergeant Saker had turned his mercenary guild into a legitimate business, the few bandit gangs scattered across the realm continue to intimidate trader caravans and adventurers. Amid all of this are rumours of Shadow Temples, and an Assassin's Guild settling comfortably amongst the ruins of Albion's once healthy society.
And if these issues were not enough, the port town of Bloodstone has recently been brought to the attention of the Hero Queen. In spite of being isolated from the rest of the Kingdom due to Wraithmarsh, compared to the Bowerstone region... Bloodstone as a community has flourished.
On account that lawmen are as rare as hen's teeth, organized and disorganized crime is the way of life in Bloodstone. Nearly everything is for sale, and work is easier and more profitable than anything that could be found in Bowerstone Industrial, legal or not.
The Royal Family have no neighbours to rely on for help. Samarkand is too far away; the Court's troubled relationship with Aurora has yet to change for the better, and now trouble is brewing at Bloodstone. These matters have left the Hero Queen with few allies.
What is to become of Albion?

Mystic Hills Academy |
Mystic Hills Academy for the Gifted
On a plane of existence far excused from the knowledge of humans lies a community of mystical beings with one grand purpose: to forge a new future for younger generations where they do not have to hide the gifts they have been given. A place free of social prejudice and scorn of the different. Founded centuries ago, Mystic Hills Academy for the Gifted offers children and young adults training in their personal arts as well as the tools and guidance to help them grow where other societies may cause their gifts to be smothered and lost.
All walks of mystical being are allowed, given they are willing to abide by the rules of the elders and faculty. There is no need for tuition, or any money at all - all expenses are a moot point. Social status, wealth and upbringing have no meaning in this academy, so check your bank account at the door. The school caters to all ages from elementary aged children to collegiate. Room and board are provided, as well as a means to return back to the human realm so that no one need raise suspicion to their loved ones. To any human that knew of a student - they would simply know they were given a full scholarship to an incredibly elite school. To those that have no family to call their own - they are provided with a chance to create their own, in fellow students and elders that are willing to mentor them, listen to their problems, and help them cope and overcome them.
Once accepted into the Academy, a new student is placed under one of the eight guardian elders based upon their elemental alignment. From there, the students classification is established and they are introduced to instructors that are specifically skilled in their field to train and bolster their abilities. Alongside this specialized education are more standard courses that most students would take - though they are catered more towards mystical empowerment and education. Students are not judged by grade in Mystic Hills - but by their true ability - allowing for the truly gifted to quickly excel and not be stifled, while those that have more to learn are given more hands on training without the pressure of being the same as the rest. Dorms are separated by compatibility and elemental alignment, as well as a particular students needs.
