10:53a	Weekend Warriors Our idea of a superhero has been crafted—molded since we were young. Just a click of the remote took a child to Superman, the very definition of the word. We saw him utilize his enhanced agility and strength to defeat the unethical schemes of Lex Luther, his arch-nemesis. When all was right, he ran to the shadows to become a common man named Clarke Kent. He then battled everyday evils, such as staplers, traffic jams, and the pain of unrequited love. Though he was portrayed as a civilian, he was never considered one. He was always alien to us, as most well-known superheroes are.  It’s never an average man who's gone without a run-in with toxic fluids or bites from strange creatures who saves the day, but for these citizens that all changes... Weekend Warriors' concept is strongly influenced by comics, television, and movies such as Scott Pilgrim, Kick Ass, and Heroes. Many of the first generation of mutants have grown up, settled down, and had their own families. Others have disappeared into the mists of time. Some have passed on. Despite the changes, some things have stayed the same. The world still needs saving from itself. There are still those who are angry at the status quo. There are still those who work to make a difference. And in the wake of disaster, the world still seems to wonder if it can truly trust its mutant citizens. XKin is a second generation Marvel Universe game that takes an alternate universe to Marvel 616 canon after the year 2005. Decimation? Didn’t happen. Civil War? Not even close. In this divergent world, Jean Grey is dead. Magneto was never revived by his daughter and the Scarlet Witch outright disappeared. So what did happen? You tell us. By 2031, the children of the original heroes and villains have grown up. Will they follow their parents? Or rebel to find their own destinies? Under the leadership of Exodus, the Brotherhood had risen again with cells across the United States and part of Europe. In San Francisco, a new, younger group of X-Men have been stationed to respond to the growing tensions in mutant/human relations and the freshly established cell of the Brotherhood that has begun to run amok in the city. With political fervor torn on whether or not the younger generation of mutants present a threat to the population, newly reinstated Sentinel Project, the reemergence of Mr. Sinister, and a slew of issues on the horizon, this new generation already has a lot to handle. While XKin does feature overarching storylines, the game encourages player run plots and character development. Many popular character pairings are still open! 6:23p	(R)evolutions: A Superpowered Town RPG High school: the best and worst of times - especially if you can move things with your mind, shoot fire from your fingertips, or lift up a car with one hand. Welcome to Tranquility, Pennsylvania, just another ordinary small town in a post-evolutionary world. Tensions are running high as, one by one, the powered students are outed and the anti-powered sentiment strengthens. It’s been thirty years since the Powered People’s Protection Act was passed, yet the world is still filled with discrimination and hatred, and in a small town like Tranquility, things don’t change unless you force them to. One thing is certain: revolution is coming, and sooner or later, everyone is going to have to choose a side. (R)evolutions is an original character, supernatural game set in the fictional town of Tranquility, Pennsylvania, focusing on its inhabitants and mainly on its students and the social and political tension that exists between them.
