WHO: Daphne Greengrass, Open WHERE: Hogwarts grounds WHEN: Afternoon WHAT: Daphne is outside, thinking. RATING: PG STATUS: Incomplete | Open
Daphne stepped outside, pulling her cloak tighter as the chilly autumn wind picked up around her. If people were complaining about how unusually cold the summer had been, it was only bound to get colder now as the seasons started to change. The colder air could be used to Daphne's benefit as it was incredibly hard to get a person off her mind when he turned up everywhere she went. While she and Blaise didn't have all of their classes together, they did have most of them. They also shared a house, which meant any time spent in the common room was a risk of him finding her. She could only stand to spend so much time in her dorm, but what were the odds of him coming outside?
She walked through the currently empty courtyard, her thoughts willingly shifting to him. She wanted to think about something else. Her family or her schoolwork maybe. She'd had an awful lot of the latter, which meant she had less time for the former. She hadn't been sending any owls home lately and she hadn't even had time to check on her sister who was even at the school with her.
She decided that once she was finished out there, she'd write her parents an owl and let them know she was well and see how they were doing. But first, the fresh air and anything that could distract her from Blaise, were a must.
