“She hates vacation,” chuckled Nayan, groaning slightly as Morgan finally worked out the last of the tension in his lower back. His tone was tempered with both annoyance and quite a lot of admiration. “Any time not spent in the field she considers wasted. She hates everything about taking time off to indulge in pointless luxury. She believes everyone limited time should be spent in the pursuit of something worthy and each step of your life should lead to another step with your goals always at the end. He has many ambitions and very rarely compromises them for her own sake.”
He sighed a little. “I’m almost a little glad she was called away. She would have been restless and argumentative the whole time aboard… though she does plan to meet me in Bermuda. Half the time on this trip would perhaps be tolerable for her.”
