Katie looked back to Nayan again, finding herself grinning widely at his laugh. Perhaps he needed to do that more often, it seemed to work well for him. Her grin only grew as Nayan shared his tale of the arse, and she couldn't help but laugh.
"Oh, that's rich," she said, shaking her head. "Let me guess, first he tried to provoke you to prove you had anger issues, and then when it worked, he wanted to cry do-over. I do hope you at least broke something. I would give a year's wage to have seen that." No lie. She was going to have to remember that. She was in no position to throw a chair, but she had a feeling that just the threat of such a thing would be enough. Nayan's estimation in her eyes had just skyrocketed.
