'Thank you,' Keyuri recognized the other woman as being named Lei, one of the most active conversationalists at the table. It was one of the first things that came up, always, how you began with a name and a greeting and quickly moved from there. All Keyuri had to do, once she had arranged for the social meeting, was answer any questions sent her way about upcoming events.
She was more at ease here, in the role of being an interpreter, but was always pleased to let the spotlight fall to the general group and off of her. All eyes on her when she wasn't directly translating someone else's words, it made her nervous.
