While Brodie had tried to think nothing of it - especially because he wasn't the 'electrical currents when we touch' type at all - his eyes did flicker up to meet Nayan's briefly when theirs fingers had touched, and he swallowed hard again, before looking back down and returning to normalcy. He snickered, looking down timidly. "Thank you." It was a bit early for that, but Brodie wasn't going to complain.
"That's what I'm going for, but I am no good at that kind of thing." He confessed, with a shrug as he watched Nayan get his shoes. Briefly enthralled by the other man's grin - not your average grin, if such an expression could even be used - Brodie nodded. "It was nice to meet you too." He waved as Nayan walked away, and, quite right, watched the other man leave. His face was emotionless, and he hadn't given himself space to think or analyze the conversation they just had; but Brodie was watching Nayan quite attentively until he disappeared into the ship again.
With a sigh, Brodie took another cigarette from his pocket and lit it, leaning against the sofa again, seeking a relaxation that didn't seem to come in its entirety as he found himself having to tell himself to think about something (someone) else.
