Brodie shrugged. And then he remembered something, and his eyes went wide. "My birthday's tomorrow. Maybe we won't have to sneak around, I can call in some favors." He mused, smirking. Well he didn't announce on all outlets that he had a birthday coming up, the least people could do was help him out on the day if he asked them to. Right?
Watching Nayan go through the process of retrieving the notebook, then the pen, and then using them to scribble something felt oddly interesting to Brodie and he felt compelled to watch his every movement. It must have been curiosity, and it was soon to be satisfied. Brodie took the notebook page from Nayan's hand, swallowing hard, and nodded, blinking. "Right, so I'll just...Call you. Okay."
He wasn't good at this, but now he'd gotten himself into this thing, he wasn't exactly going to be rude and pretend to forget about it. Especially because this cruise was not nearly as filled with people as it would have to be for them to never see each other again. "Uh, yeah, yeah, sure." Brodie nodded, snapping out of it and stashing the page in his pocket. "I'll talk to my band first, and if I don't succeed, then we move onto plan B." Which sounded infinitely more exciting.
