"Hm." It appeared has though it didn't make a difference to Nayan which he talked about first, and indeed he liked the music more than the 'stardom'. Curling the corner of his mouth into a smirk, Brodie shook his head. "I'm not a star, Muse is. Which is really bloody good because I don't think I'm cut out for that kind of thing." Nayan seemed to have him figured out pretty well. "Yeah, it's never not been about the music for me, really."
He listened to what the other man had to say with interest, smiling shily by the end of it, lowering his head. "It's just what some people seem to think; I don't care, not really. Without the drums I would be nothing. I'm not being dramatic, it's the truth." He confessed, eyes wide in all honesty.
Tilting his head, Brodie knitted his brow and bit his bottom lip in thought. "Funny you mention that, I think I should learn the bass next." One of these days, he was going to be his very own band, all in one. He made a mind note to talk to Jaz about that later. If he could find her, girl seemed to have gone wild in the ship, for some reason. Not that she hadn't been before. On second thought, maybe Brodie was just jealous; God knew he hadn't gotten any in quite a while. Smiling back up at Nayan, Brodie shrugged again. "I feel like I should thank you for the pep talk, I feel really good about myself at the moment." He joked.
