"Well, you should. I always tend to go full out when I'm in costume, hence the sidecar and the cigarette holder. I don't even smoke." Lily said, as if nothing in the world could shake her good mood tonight. She ordered herself a sidecar, and a scotch on the rocks for Cary, and while they waited she turned back to face him while she leaned against the bar. "You would make a lovely mobster, Cary, nobody would ever suspect you." She said as she looked a slight bit dreamily at his face. You could pawn it off to the drinking, of course. "Until your parking ticket offense, of course." She joked, breaking into a slight laugh that lasted mere seconds.
Feeling a gentle tap on her shoulder, Lily turned around to find the bartender holding both their drinks. She took them both in her hands and turned back to Cary, handing him the drink. "Here you go, love." Raising her own cocktail glass after having gotten rid of Cary's, Lily looked him in the eye and smiled. "Here's to the best holiday ever. That sounds like the best toast a tipsy girl can make at the moment." She said, bursting into giggles yet again.
