A small smile had been playing at her lips that broke into a small laugh. Bringing her other hand up to her mouth, Delia zipped and locked, throwing away the key. "Not a word," there was a playful, amused look in her eye as she watched Danny. "Promise." She could feel the exhaustion hit her, very slowly as she relaxed into the couch and her eyes got heavier.
Danny still looked cold and as he leaned into the couch his eyes slowly closed and Delia took the chance to inspect his face a little more thoroughly. The way his face seemed to relax as he slipped further in the soft warmth of sleep. She smiled at him, trying to fall asleep on her couch and looked away a little suddenly when his eyes opened unexpectedly. She'd almost opened her mouth to ask him if he wanted to sleep on the couch, but she wasn't sure if that was a good idea.
Tucking her legs underneath herself, Delia sighed. "Damn," snapping her fingers half-heartedly. "I suppose you've found me out, there's really no going back now." She laughed quietly with him. Although he was joking, Danny had no idea how spot on he actually was. Her desire to attend Columbia instead of Harvard and the fact that she lived in an apartment with 4 other girls were all things that her father detested. Things that set her apart from her family.
