That last, long yawn, gave away just how much time Jack had spent sleeping so far, dead to the world in the cloud of a bed in his cloud of a suite. A wide, loud action, complete with a stretch of his back and arms as he settled down in one of the chairs at the table. Poker always was a favorite game of his, he'd learned it early as a way to play against his family for fun. Chocolate coins served quite well as chips, until the end when he and his siblings had padded off from the table with chocolate stained mouths and fingers.
Later the chocolate had been replaced by actual poker chips, and then money in college, but nothing beat winning a pot of chocolate coins. That was, Jack's opinion on the subject, at least.
Never one to dress to impress if there wasn't parental obligations, or school ones, he'd just grabbed a pair of jeans, a pair of sneakers and a shirt. Sure, the shirt said, 'I (Heart) Transitive Pictograph Verbalizations,' but that wasn't trying to impress. That was just geek humor, and it had made him laugh when he'd found it in a store awhile back.
