"That's true." she said with a little nod. "But they're ugly when they open their mouths so I don't bother feeling their faces." she explained. "They're ugly all the same. The people I've touched are beautiful no matter what their faces feel like." Perhaps it was rambling of her own, but that was how Helena felt about beauty. It was in the eye of the beholder, even if said beholder couldn't see.
She smiled as his hands moved over her cheeks, making her face light up, even in the dark. "I don't think I look like an angel." she said softly, but still, it was nice to hear. Iosef was sweet and the compliments were definitely helping to boost the girl's opinion of herself. "But thank you. That's sweet."
