He didn't seem like he wanted to talk much about his family so she moved the topic right along to how handsome she thought he was and why. "I just knew." she said. "You've been really sweet to me." she explained. "People who are unattractive are often rude or just plain mean." she murmured. "You're none of those things."
She smiled again when he said that he was nineteen. He wasn't too much older than her. It was that whole older boy thing that her father would certainly disapprove of, but at the moment Helena was enjoying herself too much to think about her dad.
Taking his hands again, Helena pulled them up to her face and pressed them to her cheeks. "You know what I look like." she said, but do I feel the way I look?" she questioned.
