"Ahh, I thought you sounded like you weren't from the States!" Iosef exclaimed when she said she was Australian. It made sense now, and Iosef wondered why it hadn't occurred to him to ask, since her accent had been bothering him (in a good way) the whole time.
He wasn't noticing it, but his eyes were closed because it felt natural somehow, and he made no gesture to let go of Helena's hand. If she wasn't letting go then neither was he, it didn't really feel that weird anyway. "Well, I'm glad your dad brought you here. Everyone should have fun. And whatever reasons he had, must've made more sense than the reason why my parents brought the whole family over." He said, shaking his head. "How was Christmas?"
