Helena had decided to take advantage of her father doing his own thing for the night. He'd actually been willing to leave - or been forced to, but that didn't so much matter to her because he'd gotten out of the room for a little while - so Helena ended up on the deck, taking advantage of the clean air and the breeze.
When she was joined, she heard the footsteps first and listened as each step the boy took made contact with the deck. She wasn't sure at first if it was a man or woman though the footsteps sounded a bit too heavy to be feminine, but the sigh had her certain it was a man. A young man perhaps. Sundance lay at her feet, close enough to be within reach of the girl and his ears perked up when Ios spoke.
Helena looked up at him smiled in his general direction. "Hello." she said. "How're you?"
