Who: Hannah Abbott and Ernie Macmillan When: Night (6.26) Where: The Macmillan household where they both live. Summary: They've barely spoken a word to each other, it needs to be dealt with. Rating: TBD
Hannah had just finished a shift at the Leaky Cauldron and came straight home. Normally, the first thing she'd do was find Ernie where they'd talk about their day, and just hang out. But ever since he had gotten upset with her and hurt her feelings, Hannah had been going out of her way to avoid him. They hadn't really said much of anything to each other, nor had they seen much of each other, even living in the same house. It was awkward, and Hannah felt like she was walking on eggshells most of the time because she was living with him and his family. While his parents were trying to stay out of whatever was going on between them, Hannah knew that it must have put them in a weird spot. Of course Ernie was their son, Hannah was just his friend that they had taken in because her father couldn't be bothered with her anymore. But were they even friends anymore? Hannah was still as much confused as she had been the other night when he had revealed that he had feelings for her. She didn't know how she felt about Ernie, not for anything other than a friend. She had racked her brain trying to figure out how she felt about him, but she didn't know. Everything was such a mess. They weren't talking, they weren't spending time together, it was like they were strangers living in the same house.
Coming home, Hannah went straight to her bedroom. His parents weren't home, they likely had went out to dinner or something, it wasn't uncommon for them to do so. Hannah figured Ernie had went with them, it was quiet in the house, after all. Hannah reached for one of her chocolate frogs that she had gotten for her birthday and opened it, holding the chocolate frog in her hand, feeling it croak lightly and try to hop while in her grasp. Looking for the wizard card, Hannah grabbed it with her free hand and looked at it, stunned at what she had gotten, so stunned in fact that she actually dropped the chocolate frog, it hopping around on her bed. She had gotten a legendary card, one that she had been searching for since she had first started collecting. Merlin's face looked at her, a smile perched on his face, a nod following. "Helga yes!" Hannah shouted loudly, momentarily forgetting about everything else going on in her head. She jumped up from her bed, leaving the chocolate frog to its own devices as she moved through the house hollering excitedly, "I got him! I actually got him!" Without thinking, Hannah slung open Ernie's bedroom door without knocking, turns out, he wasn't with his parents after all. Holding up the card, Hannah loudly exclaimed excitedly, "I finally got Merlin!"
