Of course Chaz knew where Alexei stood in that argument. How could he not? They had all grown up in similar homes, but Chaz was the only one who had seemed to have a different opinion of muggleborns. Perhaps it was his friendship with Lenny or maybe his need to take rebellion a step further, but whatever it was he didn't appreciate the way his friends talked. Before the Death Eaters took over he could just ignore it or tell them that they were being assholes and stop talking to them for a couple of days, but things were different now. Muggleborns were actually dying and Chaz had a really hard time keeping his mouth shut now that lives were at stake. Not that he hadn't been warned, but he couldn't just let them get away with casual bigotry when that was what led to all of this.
That wasn't the conversation they were having now, though, so Chaz was having a good time. Even when Alexei seemed irritated with him Chaz enjoyed his company. When they got along, however, Chaz remembered why he kept coming around. There was an easy, comfortable energy between them and Chaz didn't feel he had to try so hard.
"I didn't say I'd play chiropractor," Chaz rolled his eyes. "I said massage. You know that thing where someone rubs your shoulders and they feel better afterwards?" He grinned then, waiting to finish his comment until Alexei was in his space. "Besides, if you end up hunched over I can look at your ass more than I already do."
